The flexibility of remote work allows for a potentially more varied or self-directed schedule, but it also requires excellent organizational skills and adaptability to ensure pet owners receive timely, high-quality care.
To thrive as a Virtual Veterinary, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and valid veterinary license are essential, along with strong diagnostic and clinical knowledge. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, digital recordkeeping systems, and secure communication tools is typically required. Outstanding communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills enable you to effectively guide and reassure pet owners remotely. These competencies ensure accurate care recommendations, build client trust, and facilitate seamless virtual consultations.

We are looking for someone who has at least one year experience as a veterinary technician. Duties would include but not limited to answering phone calls, checking patients in, checking clients out, patient care, surgical prep, assisting in surgery, blood draws, placing iv catheters, taking radiographs, performing dentals, and cleaning. Cornerstone practice management software experience would be helpful.
