Responsibilities may include conducting therapy sessions, assisting with assessments, implementing treatment plans, and documenting progress. What does a virtual SLPA do?

A typical workday for a Virtual SLPA involves providing direct therapy services to clients remotely, documenting session progress, and preparing therapy materials, all from a home or remote office. Virtual SLPAs regularly collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) via video conferencing, email, or secure messaging platforms to review goals, discuss client progress, and receive guidance. Communication with clients and families is primarily done through scheduled video sessions and digital progress updates.
