A Virtual Shopify App Developer is a professional who designs, builds, and maintains custom applications for online stores that use the Shopify platform, working remotely. They use programming languages like Ruby, JavaScript, or Python to create apps that extend Shopify’s core functionality, integrate third-party services, or automate store operations. These developers collaborate with store owners to understand business needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth app performance. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently stand out in this remote role.
