As a Security Guard, you play a key role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all fans (guests) and team members. This role is fan facing and combines proactive safety practices with a connected, optimistic, and service-oriented approach-ensuring every guest feels secure while still enjoying a seamless and memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Bring the Pillars of Service (Connected, Optimistic, Service Oriented, and Memorable) to life through team and fan (guests) interactions
  • Responsible for the safety and security of fans (guests), team members, and venue assets while maintaining a service-oriented and connected presence.
  • Checks identification of any fan who appears to be under 30 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages in the venue with a service-oriented and professional approach.
  • Leads fans (guests) and other team members in emergency evacuation procedures and helps if needed, fostering a connected and calm environment with an optimistic and reassuring demeanor.
  • Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, fans (guests) and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises while supporting a memorable and welcoming experience.
  • May write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences with attention to detail.
  • Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensures security of doors, windows, and gates while maintaining a visible, connected presence.
  • Enforces Cosm policy on photos, videos, and recording devices during shows in professional manner.
  • Operates detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas while maintaining a respectful interaction.
  • Warns persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehends or evicts violators from premises using a service-oriented, optimistic, and professional approach that supports a memorable fans (guests) experience
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, while adhering to all company policies and procedures outlined in training materials and the employee handbook

Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Must possess a valid security license/registration as required by applicable state and local laws (e.g., Guard Card where required).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certification in accordance with state and local regulations within a specified timeframe.
  • Preferred Security/Law Enforcement experience.
  • Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ pounds, and occasional sitting
