Help make math engaging, accessible, and rewarding while shaping the next generation of learners! Join Cross Country Education as a Math Teacher and inspire middle and high school students to build confidence and succeed in mathematics during the 2026-2027 school year in the Bronx, NY.

Position Overview: 

  • Deliver engaging Algebra I and Algebra II instruction to middle and high school students, fostering academic growth and mathematical proficiency.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards while assessing student progress and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, critical thinking, and academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school staff to support student achievement and contribute to a strong educational community.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Valid New York State Teaching Certification (Preferred)
    • Non-certified candidates must have relevant coursework demonstrating subject-matter expertise in mathematics.
  • 1+ years of experience teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level, preferably in an urban school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills with a collaborative, proactive, and student-centered approach
