Job Summary and Qualifications 

 Nurse Manager has 24/7 responsibility and accountability for daily operations of the patient observation program, Patient Safety Attendants (PSAs), and Virtual Patient Safety Attendants (VPSAs). Advocates for and allocates resources to promote efficient, effective, safe quality and compassionate care based on current standards of practice. Integrates clinical and human resources, and financial data to support decision making. Ensures monitoring equipment and IT connectivity is optimized for all hospitals and downtime procedures are in place to support patient safety. Ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards.  


What qualifications you will need: 

Required Education: BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN). 

Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing 

Required License/ Certification: 

  • Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
  • BLS Healthcare Provider.

Required Experience: A minimum of five years of recent nursing experience; 2 years in relevant clinical hospital experience with demonstrated leadership skills 

Preferred Experience: Previous leadership experience
