Job description

Role: Electrical Engineer _ PE

Location: Houston, TX - Fully Onsite

Type: Direct hire - (Full time)

Interview: Virtual + Onsite


3-4 years of experience with k-12 schools and MEP consulting firm(s).


Purpose: To serve as a member of Client’s electrical design team and to assist the team in production of high-quality contract documents for the firm’s clients, ensuring that the process fulfils the Client’s vision and mission.


Required Skills and Knowledge

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Successful completion of the State of Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) examination
  • Registered as a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas


Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of building codes

• Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment

• Previous experience designing MEP systems for schools

• Experience in the design of lighting and lighting controls, fire alarms, power and power distribution, technology systems, as well as other standard electrical systems for commercial


Travel: 10% Occasional; primarily to and from job sites and/or client meetings
