A Virtual Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides remote support for individuals receiving applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. They assist with behavior assessments, data collection, and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Virtual RBTs typically work via video conferencing platforms, guiding clients or caregivers through interventions in real-time. This role helps increase access to ABA therapy for individuals who may not have local in-person services.

As a Virtual RBT, you typically work from home or a quiet remote location, providing behavioral therapy to clients via secure telehealth platforms. Your daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one therapy sessions, implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting and recording data, and communicating progress to supervising BCBA professionals. Additionally, you'll collaborate virtually with clients' families and caregivers to support skill development and reinforce positive behaviors.
