Role Summary

Suffolk's Production Designer is a highly detail-oriented creative professional who plays a critical role in bringing ideas to life through thoughtful execution and production expertise. In this role, you'll support the creative team by preparing, organizing, and delivering high-quality design files across print, digital, environmental, and presentation-based projects. 

We're looking for someone who combines strong production and mechanical skills with solid design fundamentals and a collaborative mindset. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the craft of execution, understands how to maintain design integrity throughout production, and takes pride in creating polished, accurate, and well-built deliverables. 

You'll work closely with designers, project managers, writers, videographers, and marketing teammates to help ensure creative work is delivered with consistency, precision, and a high level of quality across all channels.

This role requires on-site presence 4 days a week in our amazing Boston office - which offers free parking, a free on-site gym and cafeteria and other perks that make for a great culture and unique employee experience!

Responsibilities
  • Execute high-quality creative deliverables across print, digital, environmental, and presentation formats, ensuring accuracy and consistency across every touchpoint. 
  • Prepare production-ready files for print vendors, fabrication partners, digital distribution, and environmental installations. 
  • Own and maintain production templates, presentation masters, design systems, and asset libraries to improve efficiency and consistency. 
  • Produce polished PowerPoint presentations by formatting, organizing, and optimizing content while maintaining brand standards. 
  • Adapt and version creative assets across multiple formats, platforms, and audiences while preserving design integrity. 
  • Partner closely with designers and project managers to transition creative concepts from design through final production and delivery. 
  • Review files for technical accuracy, brand compliance, and quality before release to internal stakeholders, vendors, or production partners. 
  • Coordinate with print vendors, fabrication partners, and external production resources to ensure accurate execution of creative work. 
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and recommend solutions that improve workflow, quality, and efficiency. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines. 
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, production design, or related creative field 
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office 
  • Strong understanding of print production, file preparation, and production best practices 
  • Experience preparing vendor-ready files for print, environmental graphics, and digital applications 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a creative team environment 
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
