Job Description
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 8-hour day shift between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays. You will primarily work at University Hospital with cross coverage as operationally necessary to Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. This position is hybrid with the opportunity to work from home at times after orientation but frequency varies and dependent on operational need.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
  • Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family and/or other care providers such as OT, ortho, burn and wound.
  • Communicate with patients via phone triage or MyChart, provide patient education and support providers within the ambulatory setting.
  • Assist with clinic procedures such as excisions, drain/suture removal, dressing changes, and/or breast expansion.
  • Join a specialized team providing all types of plastic and reconstructive procedures to restore function and assist patients to feel their best. Conditions treated may include: brachial plexus, cancers (breast, gynecologic, skin, etc.), carpal tunnel syndrome, congenital anomalies, gender affirmation, migraines, nerve repair, trauma injuries, and Mohs.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience
  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Relevant RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Applicable clinical certification Preferred
