Job description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Job Details:

  • Work in a 180-bed hospital-based facility with 11 operating rooms

  • Provide anesthesia services for cardiovascular, vascular, neuro, general, ENT, urology, orthopedic, robotic, colorectal, podiatry, and plastic surgery cases

  • Cover out-of-department services including non-invasive cardiology, OB, endoscopy, and radiology (CT/MRI)

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop comprehensive care plans

  • Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care

  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia complications

  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management

  • Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards

  • Handle approximately 35 surgical cases per day

  • Work 8 or 10-hour day shifts

  • Supervision ratio of 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs

  • Current RN license and NBCRNA certification required

  • Master's or Doctorate from accredited nurse anesthesia program required

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or preferred

  • Accepting new graduates

  • Patient demographic includes minimal pediatrics, mostly adult and geriatric

  • Required procedures include general surgical cases, obstetrical cases, and neurosurgical cases

  • Additional procedures include arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations
