Onsite positionPosition Responsibilities
  • Monitor multiple patients simultaneously via Artisight AI-enabled camera system in a centralized monitoring station within the hospital or secure remote location.
  • Recognize and respond to unsafe patient behaviors such as attempts to exit bed, remove medical devices, or leave the room.
  • Verbally redirect patients using two-way audio communication, when appropriate.
  • Activate escalation protocols and promptly notify unit nursing staff when intervention is needed.
  • Maintain continuous visual monitoring to ensure patient safety, documenting events per policy.
  • Work in partnership with bedside nurses, charge nurses, and the Admission/Discharge/Transfer (ADT) Virtual RN to ensure appropriate patient monitoring.
  • Report changes in patient condition or unsafe behaviors promptly to the care team.
  • Document all significant observations, interventions, and communications in the monitoring software or EMR, as required.
  • Operate and troubleshoot Artisight virtual monitoring equipment.
  • Respond to AI-generated alerts and focus observation accordingly.
  • Ensure cameras are positioned appropriately for maximum visibility and privacy compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing competency training and technology updates.
Qualifications
  • License/Registration/Certification
    • CPR Certification required. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate within 90 days of employment.
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. CNA, PST, Medical assistant, Monitor technician, or Patient Care experience preferred.
  • Experience
    • Prior healthcare and patient sitting experience preferred.
