Job description

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.
 
An OT (or PT) trained in Pelvic Health for females and males in addition to neurological and  orthopedic care for evaluations and treatments in our outpatient clinic.  The employee will enjoy one-to-one care, without overlapping of patients. The employee will appreciate a dynamic pelvic health team that is in place in 4 of our clinic locations for NKC Health, including an experienced peer at this location (PT). The work schedule will be 4-10 hr days or would consider 5- 8 hour days, but the schedule will end at 6 p.m. regardless of scheduled days, Monday through Friday.  Required to work either 1 weekend day (holiday based) or 1 holiday minimum in our inpatient/acute care setting (will be cross-trained in advance) for this to support our hospital-based care needs.    
 
THIS POSITION NEEDS TO HAVE PELVIC FLOOR EXPERIENCE and is LOCATED at our Creekwood location.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), OTR (Occupational Therapist)
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
