As a remote position, this role offers flexibility, enabling you to work from home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly and designed to facilitate seamless communication with clients. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a consistent routine alongside your professional responsibilities.

• Provide virtual mental health counseling to clients, drawing upon your clinical expertise and understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to assess and treat emotional and behavioral challenges, ensuring appropriate interventions are implemented.
• Develop and regularly update individualized treatment plans, adapting them as necessary based on client progress and feedback.
• Support clients in identifying and building effective coping mechanisms and strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes using our efficient digital platform to support ongoing care and compliance.

Your caseload will primarily consist of first responders and other professionals facing unique stressors associated with their work. You will engage with clients from varied backgrounds, addressing issues such as trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Your empathetic and culturally competent approach will be vital in fostering trust and facilitating healing.

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• A valid California state license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling, with a strong focus on client-centered care.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently while effectively managing a diverse caseload.
• Proficiency in utilizing digital documentation and telehealth platforms for client interactions and record-keeping.

• Experience working with first responders or in high-stress environments is highly valued.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with clients.
