Palmer Junior Middle School is looking for a building substitute!
We believe our building subs are one of the most important staff members!. Building subs have the extraordinary ability to contribute to every classroom in our school. Through that they provide a consistent and familiar presence for students in order to help them continue moving forward in their learning when teachers must be absent.

Building substitutes are substitutes that sub daily at one school. If there are no positions to fill, the Building Sub will be an extra hands on deck at the school for the day. If a Building Sub does not have a job scheduled 7 days in advance, they will automatically populate into the open Classroom Teacher and Classroom support position. Building Subs do not sub for Food Services or Custodial Services.
Building Substitute Requirements: Bachelors Degree or an Alaska Teaching Certificate is PREFERRED to be a Building Substitute, but not required
