Job description

Advanced Concept Operations Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an operations analyst, you're passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our team, you'll assist in the evaluation of data assessment strategies to help deliver solutions.

You won't go at it alone, you'll work with internal and external stakeholders to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic or cost data. Once documented, you'll help develop program briefs and documents to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

In this role, you'll use your passion for analytics and statistics to help devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.

Use your operations research experience to develop technologies and concepts that advance nuclear modernization efforts.

You Have:

  • Experience in the nuclear enterprise
  • Knowledge of the maintenance and logistics of nuclear weapons
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with air delivered systems, hard and deeply buried target defeat, and reentry vehicles
  • Knowledge of acquisition processes in the DoD and DOE
  • Ability to lead small teams

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
