Job description

For over 15 years, Study Smart Tutors have provided tutoring, college preparation, and enrichment programming for thousands of students and families. We are currently looking for a Middle School Math (Certified Teacher) Tutor to join our group at our Sanford, Fl location. Candidates must hold a 4-year degree and be a certified teacher to be considered. It offers an excellent pay rate of $40 per hour, including the Benefits mentioned below. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping out and shaping our future generation of students to become all that they can be.
MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TUTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES: (Included, but not limited to)
  • Subjects to be taught: Math amp; ELA
  • Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
  • Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
  • Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
  • Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
  • Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students​
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TUTOR:
  • MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
  • MUST be a CERTIFIED TEACHER
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
  • In-person availability is required
  • Scheduled hours: Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM EST
  • Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
