Responsibilities:

  • Teach a small group of students in math. Student levels range from pre-K to 11th (In-person and virtual)
  • Check off student homework exercises during class time to ensure understanding
  • Maintain student progress through accurate student record
  • No grading needed outside of class time. Teaching materials and curriculum provided
Requirements:
  • At least Sophomore standing in a college or university
  • Knowledge of mathematics ranging from pre-K to 11th grade (Geometry/Algebra)
  • Ability to follow instructor and work as a team member
  • Ability to work independently and teach class on his/her own
  • Ability to teach students in caring and confident manner
  • Experience in a tutorial program is preferred, but not required!
  • Special consideration for those who want to be teachers
Work Schedule:
  • Shifts are 2.5 hours to 5 hrs per week
  • Weekday shifts from 4:45 PM to 7:15 PM
  • Weekend shifts from 9:45 AM to 11 AM

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
