Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Leasing Agent
Location: The Emery (218 Middlesex Street Lowell, MA 01852)
Schedule: Tuesday 3-7 p.m. Thursday 3-7 p.m. Saturday 10-4 p.m.
Summary: Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and positive customer service. Acts as the Company's representative by conveying the benefits of the community. Manages the leasing process from appointment to application.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Successful completion of lease up of the community within deadlines
  • Preserves and respects confidentiality of resident and applicant information.
  • Works patiently, professionally, and cooperatively with prospective residents and staff to market apartments to applicants.
  • Manages prospects from initial outreach (show/tour) to start of the application process.
  • Provides assistance to applicants through the application process.
  • Completes all showings (virtually & in-person) for qualifying applicants.
  • Responsible for updating and managing the virtual tour catalog.
  • Inspects vacant apartments ahead of scheduled move-ins or apartment tours. Completes minor cleaning of the unit, as needed (dusting, walk throughs, etc.).
  • Conducts new resident orientations and assigns keys following the application approval.
  • Should understand market trends and present innovative marketing ideas, feedback, and recommendations.
  • Attends weekly leasing meetings.
  • Completes assigned Grace Hill courses.
  • Answers phone calls from prospective residents, completes guest card info in computer software, schedule apartment showings, and follows up post visit.
  • Manage the prospect pipeline.
  • Completes follow-up calls on outstanding applications.
  • Special projects and other duties/responsibilities as maybe determined or assigned.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. Ability to handle pressure due to complexity and time-sensitivity of tasks. Possess excellent organizational and proofreading skills. Strong attention to detail. Friendly, energetic with strong interpersonal skills. Proven phone and in-person sales skills. Ability to be an active team member within the company. Ability to preserve and respect resident and applicant confidentiality. Professional demeanor and appearance to properly represent property portfolio. Valid driver's license required and current automobile insurance.
