Senior SAP QM/PP Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP QM/PP Consultant to support an S/4HANA manufacturing environment. This role requires strong functional configuration expertise across SAP Quality Management and Production Planning, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting complex assembly manufacturing environments and working closely with business stakeholders, ABAP developers, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP QM, PP, and PEO modules within an S/4HANA environment.

Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and business processes.

Break down business requirements into actionable development items.

Provide functional guidance to ABAP developers and support solution testing.

Support SAP Quality Management processes, including:

Quality notifications

Quality inspections

Quality notification workflows

Inspection origins/types 03 and 04

Support Production Planning processes, including:

Material Requirements Planning

Project stock

WBS elements

Complex assembly manufacturing

Support integration between:

PP and QM

PP and MM

PP and Project Systems

Assist with product rework, rework from stock, problem-solving, and MRO-related processes.

Partner with business stakeholders to validate solutions and ensure they meet operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

8–16 years of SAP consulting experience.

Strong configuration experience in SAP QM and PP.

Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.

Experience with PP‑QM and PP‑MM integration.

Experience with Quality Notifications, Quality Inspections, and business workflows.

Hands‑on experience with Material Requirements Planning and project stock involving WBS elements.

Ability to develop functional specifications and guide ABAP development.

Strong business analysis, communication, and testing skills.

At least one to two SAP implementation projects involving both Production Planning and Quality Management.

Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident/Green Card holder.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP PEO.

Experience with complex assembly manufacturing.

Knowledge of SAP Project Systems, including network orders, WBS elements, and PP-PS integration.

Experience with product rework, rework from stock, and MRO processes.

Industry experience in aerospace and defense or automotive manufacturing.

Work Arrangement

Local candidates are preferred. The selected consultant should be available to work onsite at least one day per week. Remote candidates may also be considered, and a virtual desktop environment will be provided.
