Schedule: Mon - Fri 40 hours per week 8am to 4pm

Location: 2501 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner- Infusion Sr Manager (ARNP-SrM) provides direct management and overall leadership and direction to the ARNP/PA Infusion staff. Assist in providing comprehensive primary care and services that patients and families require throughout their outpatient experience. Contributes to staff and patient satisfaction, facilitates increased professional growth, and provides improved quality and fiscal outcomes. Lead education and research endeavors to promote high quality evidence-based Oncology patient care. The ARNP-SrM has prescriptive authority in the State of Florida under a practice agreement with a supervising physician. The ARNP-SrM actively participates in outstanding customer service, including service to patients, families, physicians, and other contacts, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

  • Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth Orlando’s service standards.
  • Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics, the ANA Scope and Standard for Nursing Practice, the State of Florida Nurse Practice Act, and the AONE Nurse Executive Competencies.
  • Human Resource Management – Monitors performance of the ARNP/PA Infusion staff and takes action for improvement as appropriate.
  • Financial Management – Understands health care economics, public policy, and finance as it pertains to the delivery of patient care.
  • Performance Improvement – Demonstrates familiarity with the performance improvement model of the organization

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Human Resource Management competencies

• Ability to lead Performance Improvement initiatives for Oncology Infusion Department
• Critical thinking and clinical skills, and ability to Utilize Technology in relation to the operations of the department and delivery of patient care
• Demonstrates strong Leadership and Clinical Practice Knowledge

• Acts as a role model for Professionalism with positive coaching, motivating, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in the delivery of services for Oncology Infusion patient population

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Basic Life Support (BLS), as required by area of practice
• Creativity and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Effective comprehension and use of English
• Computer skills

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Master of Science degree in Nursing
o Individuals who completed their training prior to January 1, 2001, shall not be required to hold a master’s degree


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Four (4) years’ experience in respective discipline
• Two (2) years of supervisory or managerial level experience

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
• Public speaking experience
• Teaching/precepting experience


LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
• Current, valid State of Florida Board of Nursing Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license
• Prescriptive authority for the State of Florida
• National Nurse Practitioner certification by either:
o the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or
o the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), unless grandfathered under certificate-based program or
o the AOCNP credential from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC)

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
• Chemotherapy certification
