Step into a rewarding remote opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students at a therapeutic day school. This flexible position offers approximately 5 hours per week, beginning immediately and extending through June 2027. You’ll work remotely as an independent contractor (1099), collaborating with a dedicated educational team to implement individualized speech and language services for students who benefit from therapeutic support.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent school-based SLP experience
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver engaging, effective interventions in a remote setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy sessions individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions as an SLP specialist
