You will be responsible for major project deliverables, leveraging deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are vital as you influence project direction, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
  • Oversee and lead complex system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management activities.
  • Analyze and review Software Architectures to meet system and hardware level requirements.
  • Understand different Software Architectures and be able to modify, recommend, and correct proposed Architectures for a "best fit" approach at a minimal cost.
  • Manage major project deliverables and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Leverage deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Provide strong leadership and effective communication.
  • Mentor and guide team members.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Expert proficiency with Systems modeling and simulation tools.
  • Proven leadership experience in systems engineering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple Engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
  • Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and V&V principles.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Thorough understanding of establishing, tracking, and addressing key programmatic risks

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications
  • Previous Experiences with authoring CDRS and SDRL deliverables
Essential Functions:
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
