About the Role
COMPANY is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineering Technician to support Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects within the Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) team. This role supports multidisciplinary engineering teams and produces high‑quality 2D/3D electrical design deliverables for complex power‑generation facilities.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead electrical design efforts for APG projects
  • Create and modify 2D/3D deliverables using Bentley MicroStation
  • Support design of duct banks, cable trays, grounding, and lighting systems
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards
  • Coordinate design activities across disciplines and project teams
  • Monitor deliverables for schedule, budget, and consistency
  • Establish and enforce design/graphic standards
  • Support field activities as needed
  • Guide and mentor other engineering technicians
  • Improve design tools, workflows, and project integration
Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design‑Related Technology
  • 15+ years of electrical design/drafting experience
  • Strong proficiency with Bentley MicroStation
Experience with:
  • 3D equipment modeling
  • Duct bank design
  • Cable tray design
  • Grounding systems
  • Lighting systems (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Design‑Related Technology
AGI32 lighting design experience (preferred)
Familiarity with Bentley toolsets used in APG environments
