Status:Full-Time

Setting:90% Outpatient 10% Inpatient | 100% Adult Patients

Position Overview:

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-timePhysician Assistantto join ourCardiothoracic Surgeryteam atHenry Ford Macomb. This role focuses on the perioperative management of cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, surgical first assist responsibilities, patient rounding, evaluations, and postoperative treatment planning. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative, highly specialized surgical team in a fast-paced, high-acuity operating room environment. Weekend coverage and on-call availability are required. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of one year of cardiothoracic operating room experience.

  • At least 1 year of Cardiothoracic experience as an APP required

  • PA graduate from an accredited program

  • Current (or in-process) Michigan licensure

Licensure

Certification

· PA:Certification by theNational Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Required Certifications
