Summary: The Warehouse Manager at American Food & Vending provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards. This role is responsible for managing supervisors and associates, optimizing inventory control, and driving continuous improvement to support company goals and exceptional service delivery. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution. 
  • Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and associates, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and food handling standards. 
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and implement processes to reduce discrepancies and improve efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast demand, manage budgets, and align warehouse operations with business objectives. 
  • Analyze operational performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet service and delivery timelines. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues and resolve operational challenges promptly. 
  • May be assigned additional duties and responsibilities as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse or distribution management. 
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, logistics, and safety compliance. 
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and implement process improvements. 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment; willingness to travel occasionally if required.
