Senior Brand Experience & Content Creator

Carmel, IN

ABOUT ALTERNATE VIEW

Alternate View is a first-of-its-kind optical and facial aesthetics boutique. Our combination of expertise from eyecare, eyewear, and facial aesthetics helps clients be in control of their confidence and how they show up. Our boutique experience blends advanced treatments, curated eyewear styling, and a holistic approach to wellness.

We’re on a mission to get people through our doors so they can experience Alternate View firsthand and become lifelong brand evangelists. That’s where you come in.

ABOUT ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate, expert-level Senior Brand Experience & Content Creator to shape and grow Alternate View’s brand across platforms and touchpoints, while connecting our message to our community. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes creative storytelling and thinks like a brand marketer: connecting great ideas to business priorities, understanding what resonates with our audience, and is constantly looking for the next opportunity to make Alternate View impossible to ignore.

You’ll be the force that ensures every piece of content, from a single social post to a full campaign, captures the soul of the Alternate View brand and makes people want to experience it for themselves. You’ll own Alternate View’s day-to-day brand presence and community relationships end to end, while partnering closely with the broader marketing team on large initiatives.

Marketing Expertise & Point of View

  • Serve as Alternate View’s owner of brand voice and messaging; and as the expert on the eyewear, beauty, and wellness spaces.
  • Track what’s working across channels and bring a point of view on what to do next.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Brand & Content Implementation

  • Help bring the brand to life across all platforms, using our visual and verbal identity as the foundation.
  • Create and maintain a monthly content and brand calendar with themes that attract, convert, and retain clients.
  • Ensure every creative touchpoint (social, emails, web copy, events, partnerships, digital ads, and more) is aligned, compelling, and uniquely “Alternate View.”
  • Collaborate with the City Optical marketing team on larger initiatives.
  • Maintain a comprehensive marketing plan, including content initiatives, channel deliverables, and timing.

Social Media Content Creation

  • Concept, write, and produce content for all platforms, with collaboration from the City Optical marketing team where applicable. Initial focus on Instagram and Facebook, with opportunities for additional channels when appropriate.
  • Use a content management platform (e.g., HeyOrca) to plan and organize posts.
  • Capture in-store content monthly (photo and video) featuring client stories, products, and the AV experience. Collaborate with the multimedia content creator on larger shoots.
  • Design visual assets using Canva or Adobe tools that align with our aesthetic and messaging.
  • Engage with the community through creative storytelling and a consistent brand voice.
  • Identify, pitch, and maintain relationships with local businesses, stylists, wellness brands, and community partners.

Partnerships

  • Own the creator network end to end, identifying, briefing, and reviewing monthly deliverables for aesthetic direction, messaging, and brand fit.
  • Identify and pursue new influencer partnerships and content collaborations.
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve the roster.
  • Proactively build community connections on behalf of the brand.

Web & Digital Presence

  • Implement the brand experience across our digital presence, updating content for new offers, seasonal campaigns, and brand evolution.
  • Write and refine web copy and landing pages that feel luxurious, personal, and purposeful, balancing conversion and connection.
  • Support content creation and messaging for use across paid advertising networks.

Events

  • Manage planning and execution of the monthly coffee & networking event: logistics, invites, partnership tie‑ins, and content capture.
  • Manage planning and execution of special events as needed.

Email

  • Leverage this powerful tool to create community, share content, cross sell services and further brand initiatives.
  • Manage planning and execution of monthly email sends and special messaging opportunities.
  • Craft communications to shape the AV client journey, including ongoing CRM messaging.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • 5-7+ years of creative marketing or brand content experience, ideally in a beauty, fashion, optical, lifestyle, or boutique wellness brand, with a track record of owning a brand’s day‑to‑day marketing presence and content creation.
  • A clear passion for brand building, aesthetic storytelling, and creating experiences through content.
  • A personal connection to self‑care, beautiful things, and the power of thoughtful design and words.
  • Ability to maximize content use across platforms to get the most out of effort and work created.
  • Strong copywriting skills for short‑form and web‑based content, with a voice that flexes from confident to poetic to direct.
  • Visual design sensibility and graphic design skills using Adobe Suite or similar tools.
  • Ability to concept and create photo/video content (iPhone‑level production is fine, so long as it’s creatively directed).
  • Familiarity with website content management (Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, etc.) and an eye for digital flow and clarity.
  • Experience with an email platform such as Customer.io, Constant Contact, or Mailchimp.
  • Experience managing a creator or influencer network with proven ability to build community relationships.
  • Comfortable proposing content strategy and priorities, and defending the reasoning behind them.
  • Self‑motivated, emotionally intelligent, and excited to champion a growing brand with depth and soul.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE

This role goes beyond day‑to‑day tasks. You’ll help shape a brand across every touchpoint.. It’s a creative playground where your ideas, words, and visuals shape how people feel about a brand built on beauty, care, confidence, and individuality. You’ll get to craft experiences that move people and help them see themselves in a new light.
