Reporting organizationally to the Client Services Guest Manager, the Supervisors, Guest - VVIP/VIP Hotel will be a key member of the FIFA26 Event Transport team, and work in close collaboration with the Guest Operations Team, Operational Services Team and other key individuals responsible for delivering Transport Operations. 
 
The Supervisor, Guest - VVIP/VIP Hotels is responsible for overseeing all transportation operations serving FIFA's VVIP and VIP client groups at VVIP/VIP hotels during tournament time. This position ensures flawless execution of guest transport services, including coordination of drivers, vehicles, and schedules; maintaining direct communication with client service teams and security; and ensuring on-time, secure, and seamless transport experiences for guests. 
 
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Supervisor, Guest - VVIP/VIP Hotels for the FIFA World Cup 26 include:   
  • Manage all VVIP/VIP hotel transport operations, ensuring seamless coordination between the hotel load zones, shuttle services, and scheduled fleet movements.  
  • Lead a team of transport coordinators assigned to VVIP/VIP hotels. Schedule shifts, conduct daily briefings, monitor performance, and ensure high service standards. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for FIFA's VVIP/VIP guests and their representatives on transport matters. Provide timely assistance, updates, and solutions to ensure exceptional client service.  
  • Liaise daily with the Client Services Manager, Security Liaison Officers (SLOs), Fleet Operations, and Hotel Logistics Teams to align on transport schedules, routes, and protocols. 
  • Track VVIP/VIP vehicle movements in real time to ensure punctuality and security compliance. 
  • Respond promptly to operational issues, vehicle breakdowns, or delays, coordinating with Fleet and Bus Operations to resolve them. 
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of hotel load zones, signage, and transport infrastructure throughout the tournament. 
  • Maintain daily operational reports, incident logs, and escalate critical issues to the Client Services Guest Manager immediately. 
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, and hospitality for all FIFA VVIP/VIP clients. 
Education & Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Transport Operations, Logistics, or Hospitality, or equivalent experience. 
  • Knowledge of transport operations, guest services, or event logistics is an asset. 
Work Experience 
  • 2 years of experience in transport, hospitality, or event operations. 
  • Experience working in a client-facing supervisory role within large-scale or high-profile events preferred. 
  • Proven ability to manage small teams, coordinate logistics, and deliver service excellence under pressure. 
  • Experience collaborating with security teams, hotels, and transport providers is advantageous. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive communication, and confidence in decision-making. 
  • Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and commitment.  
  • Positive attitude, patience, and persistence in problem-solving.  
  • Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work in an international environment. 
  • Client facing communication and guest services experience is a plus. 
Languages 
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus 
Technology 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
