What you will have an opportunity to do:
BASIC FUNCTION: The Painter & Finishes Tech will be to repair walls, ceilings and other surfaces throughout the property, both inside and out. The tasks for this position will also include performing various work orders for preventive maintenance on property.
  • Status: Full Time.
  • Availability: 3rd Shift
  • Pay Rate: $22.20
  • Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
  • Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplish assigned work orders, and completes all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
  • Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems. (training provided).
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
  • Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
  • Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided.
  • Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.

What are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Interior painting experience required. Able to work independently on paint jobs.
  • Must be able to properly patch and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, etc.
  • The ability to repair vinyl, faux, tile surfaces preferred.
  • Ability to use tools associated with the trade, such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.
  • Texas Driver's License with good driving record preferred.
