Position Summary

Soma Medical Center is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Digital Media Specialist to lead the visual identity and digital presence of our growing healthcare organization. This individual will be responsible for producing engaging graphic designs, professional photography, high-quality video content, and social media campaigns that strengthen the Soma Medical Center brand while building an active and loyal online community.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, has a strong eye for design, understands modern marketing trends, and is passionate about creating compelling content that connects with patients and the communities we serve.

Essential Responsibilities

Graphic Design

  • Design digital and print marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, posters, banners, billboards, advertisements, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all locations and marketing channels.
  • Create graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites, and internal communications.
  • Develop creative concepts for seasonal campaigns, healthcare awareness initiatives, and company events.

Photography & Videography

  • Capture professional photos and videos of providers, staff, offices, patient events, and community outreach activities.
  • Edit and enhance photos for marketing use.
  • Produce high-quality promotional videos, testimonials, interviews, educational videos, and recruitment content.
  • Operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other production equipment.

Video Editing

  • Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Suite, and the company website.
  • Add graphics, subtitles, transitions, animations, and music while maintaining brand standards.
  • Optimize videos for each social media platform.

Social Media & Community Management

  • Manage Soma Medical Center's social media presence across multiple platforms.
  • Schedule and publish engaging content regularly.
  • Respond professionally to comments, messages, and online inquiries.
  • Foster meaningful engagement to build patient trust, brand loyalty, and an active online community.
  • Monitor trends and recommend new content ideas to increase reach and engagement.

Brand Development

  • Help strengthen and evolve Soma Medical Center's visual identity.
  • Ensure all marketing materials reflect a consistent, professional, and recognizable brand.
  • Develop creative campaigns that increase patient awareness and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to promote new services, providers, and company initiatives.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with management and clinic teams to develop marketing strategies.
  • Assist with community events, grand openings, health fairs, and promotional campaigns.
  • Support recruitment marketing initiatives by creating employment branding materials.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital marketing, or multimedia production.
