Job description

Are you a creative student with a passion for social media, marketing, photography, videography, or graphic design? The Office of Marketing & Communications is looking for an enthusiastic student to help create engaging content and manage Cornell College's social media presence.

In this role, you'll capture photos and videos, assist with social media content, and support a variety of marketing and communications projects. It's an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio, gain hands-on experience in higher education marketing, and help tell the stories that make Cornell unique.

Key Responsibilities:

Create Social Media Content: Develop and publish engaging content showcasing campus life, college events, student stories, and other Cornell experiences.

Photography & Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos for use across social media, the website, and other marketing materials.

Livestream Events: Assist with livestreaming concerts, lectures, performances, athletic events, and other campus programs for alumni and community audiences.

Graphic Design: Create graphics and visual assets for social media and marketing campaigns (design experience is a plus).

Short-Form Video: Produce creative short-form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Campus Storytelling: Attend campus events and connect with students, faculty, and staff to help tell the stories that make Cornell College unique.

Previous experience with social media, photography, videography, graphic design, or livestreaming is encouraged, but not required.
