Job description

Vista Global Solutions, LLC (VGS) is a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several federal agencies and military installations across the U.S. We are seeking an Video Teleconferencing Support Specialist to join our ongoing mission at Joint Base San Antonio.
The Video Teleconferencing/Secure Video Teleconferencing Support Specialist shall provide Video Teleconferencing (VTC) support and Secure Video Teleconferencing Support (SVTC), which includes Government owned hardware and software installation and maintenance under the guidance and directions of the DHA Video Conferencing Managers. The Video/Telecommunications Specialist shall provide VTC/SVTC room facilitators who will assist the Video Network Center (VNC) with on-site services and support to include but not limited to the following:
  • VTC/SVTC support for All Hands, Town Halls, and other special functions or meetings.
  • Customer support and troubleshooting of video and audio-conferencing equipment
  • Pre-Video conference preparations and testing as needed
  • Audio and video call setup procedures with the DHA VNC bridge
  • Assist with end user training on conference room VTC/SVTC equipment
  • Asset management
  • Assist with incident management, problem management, CM and ITSM related tasks as required using MHS ServiceNow ITSM suite of tools
  • Assist with or perform VTC end point upgrades (HW/SW) as required with GFE
  • Coordinate with and provide video conference support for VTCs in the pavilion
  • Install, configure, and implement applicable IA security policies, guidelines, and requirements such as, but not limited to the Defense Information Services Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and IA Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patches
  • Load and configure DHA VNC approved IPV conferencing software applications onto IPV network appliances or customer End User Devices (EUDs)
  • Assist the DHA VNC in supporting and maintaining enterprise VTC/SVTC infrastructure located at JBSA geographic locations and sites; this includes but is not limited to bridges and other hardware appliances and applications supporting audio and video conferencing services
  • Update existing documentation and create new documentation as required to meet the tasks in support of the GSP JBSA TO PWS

The Video/Telecommunications Specialist shall provide support for mobile devices supporting the following:
  • Receive, barcode and/or add devices to inventory control system
  • Provision accounts to align with DHA Enterprise Support group policies
  • Deploy devices to users and assist with e-mail services (as required)
  • Train users on basic device features and functionality
  • Troubleshoot mobile device interoperability with Enterprise Email and /or Exchange mail server issues, (as required)
  • Receive, barcode and/or add devices to inventory control system
  • Provision accounts to align with DHA Enterprise Support group policies
  • Deploy devices to users and assist with e-mail services (as required)
  • Train users on basic device features and functionality

  • This position is pending a background check for National Agency Check (NAC)/ Tier 3 for Suitability
  • Certification requirements to meet IAT II, (Sec+ and Computing Environment). Education requirements are a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
