Job description

Department: System Marketing
Shift: Day
Working Hours: 8A-5P
Summary:
The Brand Marketing Designer serves as the marketing team leader and is responsible for the graphic design, planning, development and implementation of all marketing initiatives for the Baptist Health System Brand. This role manages day-to-day working relationships with advertising agencies and other marketing vendors. The designer will also coordinate specific marketing plans, strategies, and tactics for all entities and program lines.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, public relations or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in marketing, advertising agency or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement, complete and evaluate effectiveness of projects.
  • Skill in developing, organizing and implementing special events/projects under multiple leaders.
  • A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating range and depth.
  • Proven experience designing for both digital and print channels.
  • Expertise in laying out large-scale, complex projects from start to finish.
  • Advanced proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of marketing in all media venues (TV, Print, Radio, Social media, etc.), with working knowledge in digital media along with TV, video and print production.
  • Exceptional computer skills, and proficiency with Macintosh, PC, Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign).
  • Working knowledge of digital and video cameras and knowledge of commercial video equipment. Editing software knowledge and skills a plus.
  • Strong ability to communicate in written and oral forms.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to foster collaborative working relationships with representatives of the press, radio, television vendor organizations, the general public, and Baptist Health senior management.
  • An out-going personality with an innate ability to connect with others in order to promote and sell products and services.
  • Maintain a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance at all times.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
