Positions: Video Systems Specialist

Position Summary:        

The Video Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting the district's multimedia, audiovisual, photography, and video production operations. This position assists in producing high-quality media content, operating audiovisual equipment, and providing technical support for district events, meetings, educational initiatives, and communications. The specialist works under the direction of the Supervisor of Media Services to ensure professional and reliable media services throughout the district.

Locations: District-wide    

Qualifications:    

    Experience operating professional video cameras, photography equipment, audio systems, and livestream technology.
     Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
     Experience with photography, lighting, and digital media production.
     Familiarity with audiovisual troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
     Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
     Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for district events.




Responsibilities:    

    Operate video, audio, photography, and livestream equipment for Board meetings, graduations, ceremonies, athletic events, and other district functions.
    Record, edit, and produce videos that support district communications, instructional programs, and promotional initiatives.
    Capture professional photography for district events, employee identification badges, and marketing materials.
    Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment, including cameras, microphones, projectors, digital displays, and sound systems.
    Provide technical support for presentations, meetings, and live productions.
    Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on audiovisual and multimedia equipment.
    Assist with live streaming and recording of district events while ensuring high production quality.
    Organize and maintain digital media files, photographs, video archives, and production assets.
    Support district schools with multimedia requests and audiovisual needs.
    Follow district branding standards and established production procedures.
    Stay current on emerging audiovisual technologies and recommend improvements when appropriate.
    Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Media Services.
