Requirements

A Β VTC Infrastructure Engineer Β configures, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise audio-visual and video streaming infrastructure. They ensure high availability for virtual meetings, apply security compliance patches, and provide Tier II/III technical support for hardware like codecs, multipoint control units (MCUs), and UC managers.

Core Responsibilities

  • System Β Management: Deploy, patch, and monitor enterprise VTC and VoIP Β Β Β Β Β systems, ensuring seamless performance and uptime.
  • Incident Β Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity, audio, and video Β Β Β Β Β issues, minimizing downtime for daily operations.
  • User Support & White-Glove Service: Assist VIPs and leadership with Β Β Β Β Β conference setups, active meeting monitoring, and equipment orientation.
  • Security Β & Compliance: Enforce organizational IA policies by performing Β Β Β Β Β vulnerability scans and applying cybersecurity compliance configurations Β Β Β Β Β (e.g., DISA STIGs). Risk Management Framework experience preferred.
  • Infrastructure Β & Upgrades: Manage hardware lifecycles, recommend technology Β Β Β Β Β refreshes, and maintain updated network and capability diagrams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on VTC or systems Β Β Β Β Β administration experience.
  • Technical Β Proficiency: Deep understanding of Cisco, Polycom, or similar AV/VTC Β Β Β Β Β codecs and infrastructure, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), and control Β Β Β Β Β tools like Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS).
  • Security Β Clearances: Requires Minimum Active DoD Secret clearanceΒ 
  • Certifications: Β DoD 8570 compliance (such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA)
