Media & Streaming Content Strategist

MyFunded Futures

Plano, TX โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Posted 28 days ago

Job description

Own the Feed. Own the Watch Time.

MyFundedFutures isn't just another prop firm. We're building the brand that funded traders actually want to rep, and that means owning the ideas and the channels where they actually spend their time: YouTube, podcasts, and streaming. We move fast, we ship bold, and we don't do boring. If you're someone who can spot a format before it's trending, pitch ten ideas before lunch, and turn a raw recording into something that actually spreads, we want to talk to you.

This is a rare shot to build a video, podcast, and streaming content strategy from the ground up at a company at the intersection of finance, gaming-style culture, and internet-native content. No stuffy bank media team here. Thinkย Blue #3A82F7, Obsidian, Gold:ย bold, confident, built for traders who live and breathe the charts.

What You'll Do
  • Own long-form and streaming content strategy end-to-end: YouTube, podcast, and live/streaming formats, from idea to publish
  • Be the primary source of new content ideas: series concepts, one-off formats, trending hooks, and franchises worth repeating
  • Build and manage a content calendar that keeps a consistent, high-quality cadence across every channel
  • Develop original show formats that give traders a reason to subscribe, not just watch once
  • Own the virality lens on every piece of content: the hook, the thumbnail, the title, the first ten seconds, whatever it takes to stop the scroll
  • Partner directly with Marketing leadership to align content strategy with brand campaigns and launches
  • Own production logistics: booking guests, scripting or outlining episodes, coordinating recording, and managing editors/producers
  • Turn complex trading concepts into content that's genuinely engaging, not just educational
  • Track channel performance (watch time, retention, subscriber growth, shares) and kill what's not working fast
  • Stay plugged into creator trends, competitor channels, and what's about to blow up before it does
What You Bring
  • A track record of generating content ideas and formats that have actually performed or gone viral, ideally in fintech, trading, gaming, or creator-economy spaces
  • Strong instincts for what makes content spread: hooks, pacing, thumbnails, titles, and the first few seconds that decide everything
  • Comfort owning production end-to-end: booking, scripting, shooting/recording, and working with editors to ship
  • Genuine interest in trading, markets, or prop firm culture. You don't need to be a trader, but you should get why this space is exciting
  • Speed without sacrificing quality. We operate in a fast-moving, high-volume content environment
  • Comfort being on camera or mic yourself, or directing others who are
  • A thrive-in-chaos mindset: you're energized by a small, fast-paced team where priorities shift daily and the best idea wins, not the loudest title
Bonus Points
  • Experience hosting or producing a podcast, YouTube channel, or livestream personally
  • Video editing or motion graphics skills
  • Existing knowledge of futures trading or the funded trading industry
  • A track record of content that's actually gone viral, with numbers to back it up
Why Us
  • Ground-floor opportunity to build the entire streaming and content strategy at one of the fastest-growing names in funded futures trading
  • A team that moves with startup speed and cares about doing things right
  • Real ownership: your ideas will be watched by thousands of traders every single day
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A culture built on edge, execution, and no fluff
