Job description

FreeCast is looking for a candidate that is super collaborative, has good communication, can work well under pressure, and take on tasks that come up outside of a job description.

** Must have a portfolio/samples for review with your Resume.

** Video Editing assignment will be required in-office during the interview process.

** This is an On-Site Only position. NOT a remote position.

** We prefer someone who is already local to quickly bring them onboard. This job

requires interaction with the internal HQ Team on a daily basis.


What you need to Succeed:

  • The willingness to embody our culture of being collaborative, a self-starter, competitive, passionate, bold, distinctive, innovative, creative and able to have fun!
  • Extensive experience with motion graphic templates.
  • Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator proficiency is a plus.
  • Technically proficient with all video codecs, resolutions, color spaces, and frame rates.
  • Ability to meet strict programming technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Experience with software such as Midjourney, Runway, or ElevenLabs.
  • Knowledge of shared file storage and file transfer platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software and equipment.
  • Work well under pressure and turnaround projects to meet tight deadlines.
  • Expert oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to multitask effectively; Well-organized and a self-starter.
  • Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience working with SFTP and FTP is HUGE plus!


Key Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Assembling, organizing and syncing raw footage and audio within Premiere Pro projects.
  • Taking roughly assembled projects and editing them down to final runtimes.
  • Applying motion graphics templates and transition elements to projects.
  • Color correcting and grading projects shot in a log profile.
  • Editing audio to ensure clarity and appropriate levels.
