Description
We are looking for a seasoned, operationally excellent, and client-obsessed leader to manage a team of Account Managers across New York and Chicago on our Apple Video Ad Sales team. This Manager will set the standard for how Apple delivers premium video advertising experiences, overseeing the full post-sale lifecycle from campaign execution through renewal. You will lead with both strategic vision and hands-on rigor, ensuring your team operates at the highest level while building trusted, lasting relationships with agencies and brand partners. The ideal candidate is as comfortable guiding a client through a complex sponsorship integration as they are building scalable team processes and frameworks.","responsibilities":"
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous growth
Establish team-wide standards and workflows for campaign management, including media planning, trafficking, pacing, reporting, and renewal driving consistency and quality across all accounts
Serve as a senior point of escalation for key agency and client relationships, stepping in to navigate complex situations, resolve issues, and deepen strategic partnerships
Partner closely with Client Partners and Sales leadership to align on advertiser goals, ensure seamless post-sale handoffs, and identify opportunities to grow and expand existing relationships
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to resolve execution challenges, influence tooling and process improvements, and represent the account management perspective in go-to-market planning
Drive adoption of Apple's premium video advertising solutions including ads, sponsorships, branded integrations, and MLS Season Pass opportunities by equipping your team with the knowledge, positioning, and client access to maximize impact
Use data and campaign performance insights to identify optimization and upsell opportunities, providing strategic guidance to both your team and client partners
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the video advertising landscape including CTV, streaming, sponsorships, and branded content to inform team strategy and client counsel
Represent Apple Video Advertising internally and in client-facing forums with professionalism, clarity, and thought leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Strong proficiency with media planning, ad operations, and campaign management systems (e.g., OperativeOne, Freewheel, or equivalent)
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with an ability to influence across functional and organizational boundaries
Deep knowledge of the US video and agency ecosystem, with established relationships across holding companies, independents, and brand marketers
Experience selling or managing sponsorships, branded content, or custom integrations within premium video environments
Experience selling or managing live sports across linear, CTV, and digital platforms
Experience with TV video advertising best practices
Ability to translate data and performance insights into compelling, action-oriented narratives for clients and internal stakeholders
Track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions, optimizations, and upsell opportunities for brand partners
Genuine passion for Apple's brand and commitment to quality, innovation, and customer experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in digital media, video advertising, or account management within a premium video, CTV, broadcast, or sponsorship environment
5+ years of people management experience, leading and developing account management or campaign management teams
Proven track record of building and maintaining senior-level agency and client relationships, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Demonstrated operational expertise: experience building or scaling team processes, managing campaign delivery at scale, and maintaining high standards of execution
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,900 and $298,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
