Responsibilities

  • Design and execute primary consumer research using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Own the analysis and reporting delivery of research findings and insights
  • Support the product research team by leading in the collaboration of defining research objectives and research projects

  • Collaborate closely with partners (external vendors) and peers to generate effective research plans to ensure outputs and deliverables are internally actionable
  • Compare related competitor applications and products for strengths, weaknesses, user perspective and actionable insights
  • Evaluate new product concepts for usability issues while trying new features or assessing UX design documents

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience doing consumer research, with an emphasis on qualitative techniques including: research design, recruiting, interviewing, online platform usage, analysis, video usage, reporting
  • Proficiency using online survey tools, examples are: dscout, Pollfish and Qualtrics
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, with demonstrated technical learning and work in consumer electronics preferred
  • Excellent communicator in interviewing and soliciting verbal input. Experience writing documents for influence. Solid numerical and data analysis skills
  • Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in related field, with demonstrated technical aptitude. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience is required
