This allows individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speak a different language to communicate effectively with others, even if the interpreter is not physically present. VRI is commonly used in healthcare, legal, educational, and customer service settings. It offers a convenient and cost-effective way to access qualified interpreters quickly, especially in urgent or unexpected situations.

These skills are crucial for delivering clear, accurate interpretation across remote settings, ensuring understanding and accessibility for all parties.
