Job Summary

The Video Storytelling Producer is responsible for creating engaging video and multimedia content and producing compelling stories that resonate with Vertiv''s target audiences. This role manages and executes projects from pre-production through final delivery for thought leadership content, product/service/solution announcements, marketing programs, event coverage, community engagement, and internal communications.

Content produced will be featured across Vertiv.com, social media channels, live events, and the company intranet. Projects include live town halls, customer testimonials, facility highlights, product and solution stories, and internal, external, and tradeshow event coverage.

This position is part of the Creative Studio Team within the Global Brand Center of Excellence and is based at Vertiv''s Global Headquarters in Westerville, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent creative problem-solving abilities, and experience managing all phases of video production, including planning, filming, editing, and post-production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Content Writing Services team, Creative Services team, and internal stakeholders to develop video concepts and scripts.
  • Create innovative video content that strengthens Vertiv''s position as an industry leader in the critical digital infrastructure market.
  • Manage all pre-production activities, including:
    • Location scouting
    • Internal approvals
    • Speaker and talent preparation
    • Production scheduling
  • Execute all aspects of video production, including:
    • Video shooting
    • Editing
    • Post-production
  • Work closely with Creative Services for complex video productions.
  • Organize and maintain source files and completed video assets within the designated repository for publishing and future reuse.
  • Maintain and organize video production equipment and resources.
  • Track projects and production tasks using Wrike, Vertiv''s marketing collaboration platform.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Coordinate production activities across global teams and multiple time zones.
  • Capture photography and video coverage for:
    • Internal town halls
    • Leadership conferences
    • Sales summits
    • Tradeshows
    • Investor events
  • Support Social Media and Internal Communications teams by delivering high-quality visuals and multimedia content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for live video production technologies and production workflows.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary creative teams, including:
    • Graphic Designers
    • 2D Animators
    • 3D Animators
  • Experience producing live, hybrid, and remote events using:
    • Video switchers
    • Multiple audio sources
    • Remote and in-person presenters
  • Experience creating technical 2D diagrams and illustrations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present creative work remotely.
  • Strong interest in technology, engineering, and related industries.

Qualifications

  • 2–6 years of professional experience in video production within a B2B environment, agency, or in-house creative team.
  • Bachelor''s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent design experience.
    • An outstanding portfolio and relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent non-linear editing software.
