The Project Manager, Physical Security serves as the liaison between Account Executives, Enterprise Architects, Engineers, and clients while leading the planning, execution, and successful completion of physical security projects. This role is responsible for managing project deployment deliverables within People Driven methodology and across key physical security solution areas including video surveillance, access control, visitor management, user experience, and lifecycle solutions.

What You Would Do
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, assumptions, constraints, and scope at project kickoff.
  • Develop detailed project plans that include timelines, milestones, resource requirements, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure roles, responsibilities, and expectations are clearly established throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication for internal stakeholders and clients, maintaining transparency and alignment from kickoff through closeout.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding customer needs, managing expectations, and providing regular status updates.
  • Allocate personnel, equipment, software, and other resources effectively to support project success.
  • Monitor project financials and expenditures to ensure work is completed within approved budgets.
  • Implement quality control processes and oversee testing or validation activities to confirm deliverables meet requirements.
  • Manage change requests by documenting scope changes, evaluating impacts, and maintaining accurate project records.
  • Track project tasks and milestones, resolve issues quickly, and adapt effectively to changing priorities, timelines, and requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Conduct project closeout reviews, complete after-action reporting, and gather client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to project delivery and physical security solutions
What We Are Looking For
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably delivering technology infrastructure or physical security solutions within a technology integrator, value-added reseller (VAR), or similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • PMP certification and/or Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience managing projects involving video surveillance, access control, visitor management, or other enterprise physical security technologies.
  • Working knowledge of IP networking, structured cabling, and enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and customer communications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, project management tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, financial, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
