We are seeking Engineering Students for our Canadian Industrial Division to work in our Fabrication Facility in Nisku, AB. We are looking for students that are available for 8 months starting in Januray 2027. The positions will be under the direct supervisor of a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

As an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: 

   Assisting with project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control 
   Reviewing drawings
   Coordinating work specific scope / trades
   Verifying material quantities, hours, and rates
   Participating in project meetings
   Submit requests for information
   Inputting / Updating deficiency logs
   Producing as-built drawings
   Performing quantity takeoffs
   Conduct safety inspections
   Communicating changes with craft personnel
   Setting up / Maintaining record keeping 
   Adhoc duties as required

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role: 

   Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical or materials major.
   Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
   Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.  
   Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
   Self-motivated.

Working Conditions:

   Successful applicants must be able to provide their own CSA approved steel toed boots and be willing to take and pass a Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test.
   Our Fabrication Facility is not easily accessible by public transportation so the successful applicant will need access to a vehicle.
