Job description

At Project Stories, video production is not a fixed product, it is a structured storytelling system built around strategy, scope, and execution.We are looking for a Video Production Sales Expert who understands how to take a client’s idea, break it down into a clear production scope, and guide them into the right solution inside our system.This is not traditional sales. You are not selling “videos.”You are shaping production projects, helping clients understand what they actually need, and turning that into real creative execution through our Packages or Custom Projects (Shop system).

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and manage inbound leads from the Project Stories website, Shop, and Packages
  • Understand client goals and translate them into structured video production solutions
  • Identify whether a client fits a Package or Custom Project workflow
  • Break down ideas into clear production scopes (deliverables, timeline, complexity, format)
  • Build and present project proposals based on real production capabilities
  • Communicate production logic in simple, client-friendly language
  • Collaborate with production leads and creators to validate project feasibility
  • Guide clients from first conversation to confirmed production project
  • Identify upsell opportunities such as additional content, campaign expansions, or long-term production partnerships
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions inside the Project Stories system
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows (pre-production, production, post-production)
  • Experience in client-facing roles such as sales, account management, creative coordination, or agency work
  • Ability to translate abstract ideas into structured project scopes
  • Comfortable discussing content formats such as ads, brand films, social media content, and campaigns
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain production decisions clearly
  • High attention to detail when preparing proposals and project breakdowns
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based creative environment
  • Collaborative mindset when working with production teams and creators
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience in creative agencies, video production, or media companies
  • Understanding of content marketing and social media performance
  • Familiarity with scope-based pricing (not fixed product pricing)
  • Experience handling high-value clients or campaign-based deals
  • Knowledge of creator or freelance production ecosystems
