Job description

Wellington International is seeking a Marketing Intern to support the day-to-day marketing activities during the Winter Equestrian Festival (January through March).  This internship provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, traditional marketing, content creation, social media management, and brand strategy. 
 
Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the marketing team. 
  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) 
  • Draft blog posts, editorial articles, email newsletters, and marketing content. 
  • Assist with photo and video shoots, editing, and organizing media assets. 
  • Support planning and coordination of events, promotions, or product launches. 
  • Help with the distribution of marketing material across the show grounds. 
  • Monitor and create reports on marketing performance metrics.  
  • Work harmoniously with other interns and employees. 
  • Must maintain a good attendance record. 
  • Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all policies and procedures. 
 
Requirements: 
  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations or related field. 
  • Interns will be responsible for their housing arrangements. 
  • Applicants must have employment authorization to work in the U.S.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.  
  • Applicants must be able to work varying hours, including nights and weekends.  

Physical Requirements: 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds regularly.
