Video Live Stream Producer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Fox TV Stations, a part of FOX Television Stations, owns and operates 29 full‑power broadcast television stations in the United States, including 18 FOX‑Network affiliates and stations in 14 of the top 15 DMAs. The network produces roughly 1,200 hours of local news per week and leverages FOX national content to meet viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand.

Fox 13 Seattle (KCPQ/KZJO) is seeking a Streaming Producer who excels in live streaming, social video, and platform‑native storytelling. In this role, you will produce, manage, and optimize live and on‑demand content across FOX LOCAL and major social platforms, ensuring coverage is fast, accurate, visually compelling, and technically sound.

You are digitally native, technically confident, and calm under pressure. You understand streaming workflows, live video production, and best practices for digital and social platforms. You apply strong news judgment, excellent detail orientation, collaborative teamwork, and data‑driven decision making to create content that engages audiences where they are.

• Produce and manage live streaming coverage of breaking news, live events, press conferences, and original programming for FOX LOCAL and social platforms.
• Operate and oversee streaming production tools, including live switching, encoding, clipping, publishing, and real‑time troubleshooting.
• Create platform‑native digital and social video content—live clips, short‑form video, graphics, and text‑based storytelling optimized for mobile and CTV consumption.
• Distribute and optimize content across the FOX Local app, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms, focusing on audience growth and engagement.
• Collaborate with newsroom, digital, social, and production/engineering teams to align coverage, workflows, and priorities across platforms.
• Monitor real‑time analytics, audience behavior, and trending topics to inform editorial and production decisions before, during, and after live streams.
• Ensure all content meets journalistic standards, legal requirements, and FOX group guidelines for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Participate in ongoing testing and refinement of streaming formats, tools, and workflows.
• Assist in the planning, production, and publication of regular podcasts on both VOD and audio platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Journalism, Communications, Media Production, TV/Film Production, or a related field with a digital focus).
• Three or more years of experience producing digital video, live streams, or social‑first news content; newsroom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical proficiency with live streaming workflows, including video switching, live publishing, clipping, and distribution.
• Hands‑on experience with video editing tools and production software; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, video formats, and audience behavior across digital ecosystems.
• Experience using analytics tools to measure performance and adjust content strategy in real time.
• Excellent editorial judgment, writing skills, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and non‑traditional hours as news demands.

Salary: $80,000.00–$84,000.00 annually, dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other applicable benefits. Union‑represented employees will receive benefits under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
