Job description

We are recruiting multiple associate‑level Software Engineers to join our Software Engineering teams across the following disciplines: Full Stack, Front‑End/UI, Back‑End, Software Quality/Test Automation, Data Engineering, Data Science, DevOps, and Video Interview Process. The role requires no visa sponsorship.

Position Summary

As an Associate Engineer, you will work in a high‑energy Scrum team, delivering high‑quality software with rapid iteration, AI tools, automation, and best industry practices.

Responsibilities
  • Secure, protect, and properly handle all confidential data held by Ascensus to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
  • Analyze, implement, test, document, and maintain new and existing software applications with minimal oversight.
  • Assist in estimating, planning, and tracking throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Support people and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in other tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Up to two years of full‑time professional experience developing software for small to medium business environments (internships, co‑ops, or professional experience).
  • Experience in one or more programming or scripting language.
  • Experience using generative‑AI tools for software development.
  • Understanding of object‑oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and passion for software development.
  • Experience with Agile engineering practices (test‑driven development, continuous integration, pair programming, etc.).
  • Experience with open‑source development.
  • Experience participating in design discussions with technical and non‑technical audiences.
Video Interview Assessment

Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment within 7days of receiving the link. This self‑guided assessment includes games and questions and typically takes 40–45minutes.

Base salary range: 65k– 80k (exclusive of bonuses and benefits). Salary may vary based on location, experience, performance, and internal alignment.
