Description:
This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Candidates may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.
EEA's Human Resources Training and Outreach Department is responsible for assessing and responding to agency training needs and ensuring the development and delivery of EEA training programs. In addition to training and outreach initiatives, this department manages EEA's Internship Program.
The Training & Outreach intern will provide assistance with the Fall/Winter Internship Programs, internship program engagement activities, administrative duties and outreach events. The intern will be an integral part of our Training & Outreach department and will work closely with all members of the team.
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assist with in-person and virtual intern engagement activities including orientations, final presentations, volunteer events, and site visits.
  • Assist with tracking internship job descriptions and ID verifications.
  • Support the development of content for the internship LinkedIn page, Teams page and other social media platforms.
  • Assist with development of internship program SharePoint page including content for posts and creative content such as graphics and video.
  • Assist in creating or updating training materials, guides, and job aids.
  • Attend department meetings and assist with preparation of meetings, trainings, or events.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Highly organized with strong interpersonal communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Microsoft office tools especially excel.
  • Experience with Smart Sheets or a willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing a plus.

Other relevant information:
  • Hours per week: 15 hours per week
  • This position is partially remote with a hybrid schedule that includes a minimum of one day in-office per week
  • Internship duration: 9/21/26 - 12/4/26
