Job Description

CDM Smith is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Water Services team in Albuquerque to support a variety of water conveyance, utility, and infrastructure projects.

You will work alongside a dynamic team of industry-leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of municipal, federal, and industrial projects focused on the planning, design, and rehabilitation of pipelines, pump stations, and related water infrastructure. In this role, you will assist with engineering analyses, hydraulic calculations, data collection, field investigations, technical research, and design development for water conveyance systems.

The ideal candidate is interested in pursuing a career in water resources, water/wastewater conveyance, or civil infrastructure engineering and is eager to learn in a collaborative, hands-on environment.


Qualifications
Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering degree.

An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.

Additional Pay Range Information
CDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for the geographic location assigned to the position. In addition to geographic location, a candidate's salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.
Additional Compensation
All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
