Job Overview
Secure your next opportunity at Marvin! We're looking for a Security Systems Administrator to join our team and support the administration and maintenance of enterprise physical security systems. In this role, you'll deliver technical system support for video surveillance and electronic access control platforms. You'll serve as a critical liaison between Enterprise Security, Information Technology, and site operations, ensuring physical security systems operate reliably, securely, and within enterprise standards.
Success in this role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, plus the ability to work within existing established processes and policies. Highlights of your role
  • Administer and maintain physical security systems including video and alarm management, access control, and system configuration to ensure reliable performance and availability across locations

  • Provide ticket-based technical support by responding to, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving incidents related to user access, devices, video requests, alarms, and access control through IT service management systems

  • Manage access control and user permissions by configuring role-based access levels; troubleshoot access issues to ensure compliance with security, safety, and least-privilege requirements

  • Monitor system health and resolve device, storage, and connectivity issues while supporting updates and maintenance to ensure secure, stable operations

  • Document system changes by tracking configurations, upgrades, and device updates to ensure consistency, compliance, and standardization across all sites

  • Support security and operational incidents by retrieving and preserving video evidence, validating system functionality and identifying system gaps or improvement opportunities

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or a related role

  • Experience working in a ticket-based or IT service management support environment

  • Understanding of IP networking concepts and system administrations fundamentals

Also want to make sure you have
  • Experience supporting video surveillance and/or electronic access control systems preferred

  • Experience with AXIS Camera Station Pro and AXIS devices preferred

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale or multi-site environments
